General Members Present:  Judy Anders, Carol & Noel Bingaman, John Howell, Larry & Linda Roehr and Linda’s sister Carol Ross, Neal Jacobson, Karl and LaDonna Gehlhaar, Don & Cheryl Skinner, Randy Smithheisler, and Lonnie Sparhawk and his guest Denise Caliber

This was our first attempt at an event of this nature and I think it went quite well.  Nineteen people came and gamed it up from 1 PM until about 5 PM.  There was a rousing game of Yahtzee won by Larry Roehr.  After that Cheryl Skinner, Elaine Pinkerton, LaDonna Gehlhaar, Noel Bingaman, Linda Roehr and Carol Ross undertook some nearly impossible puzzles.  The kind where the pieces are all square and there is a pattern that you have to match on each edge.  Eventually after laboring for a while it was narrowed down to Linda and her sister Carol and they solved it in about 5 minutes.  Then the Linda and Carol proceeded to solve the other two as well.  Meanwhile the guys were taking their first look at Jim Pinkerton’s new banner for his garage and talking all things Cougar.  All in all it went great.  The club added $100.00 to the general treasury and in the process all of us had a wonderful time.  In closing a special thanks those who brought snacks and to Elaine and Judy for organizing the event and to Judy for hosting.
