By Jim Compton Eight Cascade Cougar Club cars and their owners, plus a few Cougar-less CCC members braved an absolutely gorgeous day for a trip to the 2003 Northwest Muscle Car Meet hosted by the Northwest GTO Legends car club. The show was held at the Pierce County Fairgrounds on September 20 and attracted about 125 cars. |

| The Northwest Muscle Car Meet is just about what it sounds likean annual show spotlighting performance automobiles from the muscle car era, along with a few modern performance cars, as well. It is also a relatively new event in terms of CCC participation. Given the enthusiasm for this show demonstrated by our members who attended, the Muscle Car Meet is likely to become an annual outing for the club. |

A little extra excitement for CCC members was a visit to the show by Jan Ove Enkrog and his brother, Ina. Jan is a CCC member we don't get to see often because his home is in Norway. We were delighted at the opportunity to meet Jan and talk about Cougars. (Car folks are the same the world over!) By the way, Jan owns a 1968 XR-7, although he left it home in Norway. |
