Information:
The Cascade Cougar Club (CCC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1985. The club is comprised of enthusiasts and families who are dedicated to the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of the classic Mercury Cougar automobile. In addition to a newsletter, the CCC organizes shows, road trips and social events. Periodic meetings are held for members and other interested parties to exchange ideas and information, work on club projects and socialize with other Cougar enthusiasts. The Cascade Cougar Club also supports its community through annual contributions to the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. The only prerequisite for membership is an enthusiasm for classic Cougars. You need not own one. The CCC's annual dues are $25 per year ($25 US in Canada) with renewals due at twelve month intervals thereafter. Membership applications, renewals, or other club inquiries may be sent to: Cascade Cougar Club PO Box 1914 Renton, WA 98057-1914 Club Business: Cascade Cougar Club business is conducted by its governing body, an elected Board of Directors. Board meetings are held periodically, usually monthly, at various locations in the Seattle area. Members are invited to attend Board meetings and encouraged to offer ideas and suggestions. Several general membership meetings are held during the year. The date, time and location of meetings are published in the Prowler newsletter and announced via e-mail to those members who have provided electronic addresses. Additional information concerning meetings or any CCC activity may be obtained by contacting any Board member or the Membership Director (E-mail addresses below). The Prowler Newsletter: The Prowler newsletter is published approximately ten times annually, usually monthly during the spring, summer and fall, with combined issues in the winter. Businesses may advertise for a fee, with the stipulation that they donate door prizes to one of the CCC shows during the year. Technical articles found in the newsletter do not represent an endorsement by CCC for any products or techniques. The Prowler articles represent experiences and opinions by other Cougar enthusiasts who wish to share with members.
